What is the maximum capacity of our boats?

12 passengers is the maximum surveyed number allowed. A child up to one year of age does not count.

Is the boat suitable for children?

Yes, our vessels are very much child friendly with a safety rail around the vessel to enforce it. Children must wear lifejackets on board. Children must be under adult supervision at all times.

Where is our pick up / drop off point?

For ticketed cruises this will be set by us. For private cruises you can decide to be picked up and dropped off at any public jetty or beach that the Ucruise vessel can safely stop at. Fees apply for travel time and wharf bookings.

For private cruises can one of our guests be picked up from another wharf?

Of course, passengers can be picked up and dropped off from different locations. Booking wharf fees might apply. See our wharf map for details.

Do we need to get there before the set time of the charter?

Yes. All the passengers should be at the designated pick up point at least 15 minutes prior to your charter time to allow loading of passengers and gear, and to enable enough time for the safety briefing.

Note: Your charter will start and finish at the times of your booking. If one of the passenger is late arriving at the pick up point and departure is delayed, you will lose some of your charter time on the water.

Where can we go during our charter?

Wherever you want within your time frame and weather condition for private cruises. Ticketed cruises have set itineraries to ensure everyone gets to see all the best sights.

Can you suggest any itineraries?

We have a number of standard itineraries. If you are booking a private cruise and you have a special itinary in mind, let us know.

Can we swim from the boat?

Yes of course. The boat is equipped with a swim ladder and grab bar - so access into and out of the water is easy. For private cruises only.

Can we get off the boat?

Yes we can include a stop at a beach or at a cafe in your itinerary. For private cruises only.

Can we get an interesting and historical explanation about Sydney Harbour?

Yes, on board we have information on the history around Sydney Harbour as well as our knowledgeable skippers.

WHAT TO BRING

What clothing should we bring?

You should bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses, a seasonal jumper or jacket and swimming items if you wish to have a swim (for private cruises only).

Is it BYO food and drinks?

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks on the boat. For private cruises only.

What sort of food do you suggest we bring on the boat?

We always suggest that you bring boat friendly, picnic style food that requires no preparation on board. For private cruises only.

Do we need to bring ice for the cooler / esky?

You can bring your own ice or we can organise it for you at $10 per bag. Please call in advance. For private cruises only.

PAYMENT

How do I pay and confirm my booking?

For ticketed cruises you can pay via the online payment processor. With private cruises you can reserve the cruise slot by paying a 50% deposit (bank transfer or online payment); full payment is required to secure your booking 2 weeks prior to your cruise. Please note credit card surcharges apply.

What is included in the hire fee?

The skipper and the fuel.

If I cancel the hire can I get a refund?

No refunds are available for ticketed cruises. For private cruises you will only receive a 50% refund if you cancel more than 2 weeks out from your cruise date. You do have the option to reschedule, again only 2 weeks out and this must be to a date within 3 months of the original booking date. Your booking can only be rescheduled once.

What happens in the event of wet weather or unsafe conditions?

We cannot guarantee the weather. In the event of wet weather there will be no refund. Refunds will only be given if the skipper decides the conditions are unsafe. We will envisage to contact all customers as soon as possible but a cancellation notice may come through 1 hour prior to the departure time. FEATURES

What seated areas are available?

There is seating for 12 persons (private cruises only, otherwise capacity is set at 8) to comfortably fit around the 2 seating areas provided.

Where can we put our food and drinks?

FOur boat has a built in esky and fridges on board where you can store your food and drinks. You are permitted to bring along additional coolers if required however old metal ones are not allowed as they may damage the boat. For private cruises only.

Is there sun protection on the boat?

The boat has a full sunshade if needed.

What toilet facilities are on board?

Our boat is fitted with a proper toilet on board, however for everyone's comfort we will look to visit bathroom facilities mid-way through long duration cruises.

Is there music on board?

Our boat is equipped with the audio system technology (mp3/Ipod/CD..), so remember to bring a selection of your favourite CD's or ipod.
